Formed in 2008, the Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow program (ALOT) is made
up of approximately 16 members of the current senior class. ALOT
members work to keep their class members connected—to each other and to
Kenyon—after graduation. Throughout the year, ALOT members participate
in various programs, including a leadership retreat and a leadership
speaker series where members meet in small groups with Kenyon's senior
leadership team. ALOT members specifically work as a group to:
- Educate fellow students about how to stay involved and connected with Kenyon following graduation.
- Educate fellow students about the Kenyon Fund, its critical role in
Kenyon's future, and why participation at any level is important.
- Help recruit seniors to serve as Class Agents following graduation.
Class Agents work with the Office of Annual Giving to keep their
classmates connected with one another and the College, to encourage
attendance at Kenyon regional events and events on campus (e.g.,
reunion), and to encourage their classmates to participate in the Kenyon
Fund.
Examples of programming created and coordinated by the Alumni Leaders
of Tomorrow include "Kenyon Fund Day" and participation by the Class of
2011 in the Kenyon Fund Young Alumni Challenge.
